  • Polyacrylamide is, simply called PAM, a water- soluble high polymer and widely used in petroleum, paper-making, metallurgical, textile, chemical and environment protection fields. There are three categories of anionic, cationic and non-ionic type.

Instruction of polyacrylamide
  1. Before using,dissolve polyacrylamide with tap water at a ratio of 0.1%-0.5% and stir until fully dissolved.
  2. Do not use iron materials to stir or hold PAM, because the reaction performance of PAM will decrease when it encounters iron.
  3. The dosage needs to be calculated through laboratory pilot tests, with the aim of achieving the aggregation of flocs and presenting the phenomenon of sludge-water separation.
  4. It is better to use up the prepared PAM solution within 24 hours.
  5. Products should be stored in unopened package in a dry atmosphere at temperature no higher than 35℃.

PAM polymer flocculant storage and shelf life:

PAM polyaceylamide polymer should be storaged in a dry and cool warehouse with 24 months validity.

Polyacrylamide Solution make up:

Solution should be made up at 0.1-0.3% solid. Make-up water temerature should be between 10 oC to 40 oC for optimum product performance. Following dispersion into agitated water, stirring should be continue for about an hour. The liquid polyacrylamide are stable for one week.
