Oil Well Fluid Additive Polymer Mud Chemical Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide PHPA Emulsion

PHPA is short for partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide,it's a kind of drilling mud additive.Can be used in both industrial and oil/gas drilling.Can be used in both fresh water and brines but requires high temperature.

Application in:shale stabilization,viscosities,friction reduction,fluid loss control and lubrication

• It functions as an inhibitor by coating or encapsulating formation & cuttings.
• It also restricts the interaction of water hydratable & dispersible shale's.
• It can be used as a flocculent in clear water drilling.
• It also provides inhibition properties to fresh water, sea water and also in presence of calcium ions.
• High viscosity of this drilling fluid helps in better removal of cuttings from bore hole.
• It is resistant to bacterial fermentation.

Certain types of polymers have been used successfully for many years in oil fields as drilling mud additives for viscosity modification shale inhibition/clay stabilization and fluid loss control. A wide range of products is available to suit the particular type of water based drilling mud system used by the operator to achieve the optimum performance. Each specific application is given below:

• Solid product: Packed in inner plastic bags within polypropylene woven bags (25kg per bag)
• Colloidal product: Packed in inner plastic bags within fiber plate drums (50kg or 200kg per drum)
• Store sealed in dry, cool location below 35°C (product is hygroscopic)
• Prevent powder scattering on ground to avoid slipperiness from hygroscopic properties

Oil-displacing Agent of Oil Field Tertiary Oil Recovery:It can adjust the rheology of filled water,increase the viscosity of driving liquid,imporve water drive wave and efficiency,lower water phase permeability in ground layer,and enable water and oil to flow forward at even speed.Its effect is that it is mainly used in tertiary oil recovery of oil fields in the aspect oil production,and raw oil of about 100 to 150ton more can be produced through filling the macromolecule polyacrylamide product one ton.Our polyacrylamide can meet all the complex requirements of viscosity, temperature, salinity and flooding performance for oil

Polyacrylamide is widely used in oil exploration, profile control, plugging agent, drilling fluids, fracturing fluids additives. It also plays an important role in these applications for dropping drilling fluid loss, flocculation, shale inhibition, dilution, plugging, cooling and lubricating the drill bit and drill string, carrying debris, cementing well.

1. Usually the product is prepared into solution of 0.1%-0.3% (W/W) for use.
2. Targeted at different purposes, choose the best quantity of reagent via test.
