Nonionic Polyacrylamide Flocculant for Mining Applications
Specialized polyelectrolyte flocculant designed for tailings thickening and water recovery in mining operations.

Flocculation Process
  • Charge Attraction: Available in anionic, cationic, or non-ionic formulations to neutralize suspended particle charges and form flocs
  • Enhanced Sedimentation: Accelerates particle settling for efficient tailings thickening and water recovery

Dosage and Application
Optimal PAM dosage depends on tailings properties (size, concentration, mineralogy) and desired outcomes. Proper optimization prevents overdosing that could affect water clarity or sludge handling.

Solution Preparation & Jar Testing
  • Prepare solution in plants equipped with dry powders feeding and dispersion units
  • Use continuous, moderate agitation (less than 400rpm)
  • Maintain dissolution water temperature between 10°C and 40°C
  • Allow 40-60 minutes maturation time
  • Recommended operating concentration: 1g/l (maximum: 15g/l)
  • Add flocculant solution to water at point of average turbulence for optimal mixing
